FALL FEST 2019

On October 19, 2019 the Upper Avenue Community Association with help from other residents' associations and the City Councillor's office held their first annual Fall Fest on Upper Avenue. The event helped promote the wonderful shops, restaurants and businesses on Avenue Road between Joicey Blvd. and Roe Ave.

Among the attractions that day, Councillor Mike Colle handed out hot bowls of fresh, homemade Minestrone soup that he made from scratch on site using ingredients from local grocer Bruno's. We also had the City of Toronto Planning and Development department there answering questions about developments in the area. Etobicoke Elvis performed and deejayed music while friendly uniformed police officers and firefighters hung out chatting with local residents. Businesses in the neighbourhood went all out with food samples, face painting, live music, ice cream, raffles and gifts.

The event was a huge success in bringing the community together and supporting businesses on Upper Avenue. Please check out @UpperAvenueToronto on Instagram and Facebook to see all the fun photos from the event.
